Trinity’s Advanced Inventory Replenishment (AIR) module harnesses all of the transactional information in your system to a set of rules and formulae based upon best industry practice to generate realistic and informed demand forecasts. There are also facilities to import sales forecasts - perhaps to account for future campaigns with key customers or planned promotions. This information is then carried forward into an enhanced Purchase Order Generator that enables the user to optimise order value and volumes based on target sizes, buying frequency, price breaks and vendor promotions.
The module also includes the ability to deal with product supercessions. This enables a product’s data and transaction history to be passed over to the product replacing it , so this data can then be used, for example, for forecasting on the replacement product.
