Customisation and Integration - for Dynamics GP
A suite of four major customisation tools is available for use with Dynamics GP. Customers choose the tool most appropriate for the application they are considering:
Modifier – user-oriented modification tool for existing screens allowing data fields to be removed or changed .
VBA – allows additional logic to be added to GP core software
Extender – enables new fields to be added to existing applications or completely new applications, fully integrated with Dynamics GP, to be built.
Dexterity – Dynamics GP development language used by Trinity staff to make more complex enhancements and adjustments to Dynamics GP.
In addition to these GP oriented tools, Trinity staff also have a wide range of skills in .Net based development work, especially for building integrated applications around the periphery of Dynamics GP.
The suite of tools fits well with the range of adjustments and enhancements likely to be considered by Dynamics GP users. Simple extensions to core functionality can be achieved with easy to use tools which customers’ staff with limited IT skills can take on board.
